BOMCA 10 Concluded Digital Forensics Training Series in Central Asia

BOMCA 10 experts from the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service have successfully concluded a series of digital forensics trainings held across Central Asia, with the final workshop taking place in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan from 9 to 11 June.

These specialized trainings offered a practical, hands-on approach to digital forensic software, with a particular focus on mobile device forensics and the effective collection and analysis of digital evidence in criminal investigations. Participants—primarily investigative officers and digital forensics specialists—developed skills in data extraction, reporting, and analysis through real-world scenarios and exercises.

With the completion of these training series, BOMCA 10 has strengthened the ability of law enforcement agencies across Central Asia to use advanced forensic technologies in their daily tasks, supporting cross-border crime investigations and digital evidence handling.
